By: Candice Faith

Well the two Europe’s Soccer giant’s arsenal and Barcelona clashed to one of the greatest games of the year Barcelona killed them with a score of 4-1 the amazing messi helped with that well he scored 3 goals it was a amazing sight to see. You can watch the Messi 4 Goals Video online now for free.

Messi 4 Goals Video watch it online now! Here!

Arsenal were killed 4-1 by Barcelona at the Nou Camp last night, but don’t believe what you read in the papers or on websites, we weren’t beaten by a one-man show from Lionel Messi. Yes he scored all four goals and is by far and away the best player on the planet, but Arsenal were educated in how to play complete football by a team that worked as a unit, pushed us all over the edge, never wasted a pass and supported the phenomenon who scored the goals.

I have never seen a side work so hard to get the ball back than Barcelona last night, well actually, they were equally good last week. But it was just as impressive to watch as seeing Messi score his four delightful goals. Barca’s organisation and work ethic was the real story form the game, but i shouldn’t deny Messi his glory…he was truly unbelievable.

Arsene Wenger was forced to field a make-shift team with Silvestre coming in for Campbell, who hadn’t recovered from a hamstring injury, while Rosicky and Walcott started either side of Bendtner up front. I won’t go on about Arsenal’s injuries, I’m boring myself with that one.

Messi 4 Goals Video watch it online now! Here!

The game started out well enough for Arsenal who looked far more comfortable than they did last week. Messi did go close a few times before Arsenal silenced the Nou Camp to open the scoring against all the odds. Diaby robbed the ball in midfield and suddenly we were 3 on 2, Diaby played in Walcott who raced clear and found himself one-on-one with Valdes. But instead of having the confidence to take the shot on himself, Theo elected to square it for Bendtner. The pass was slightly behind him but he still managed to get a shot away that Valdes did well to save but Big Nik got to the rebound first to poke home and give Arsenal an unlikely lead. GAME ON!

0-1 Bendtner (18)

I was really disappointed that Walcott didn’t have the ‘balls’ to take the shot on, or at least give Bendtner a decent pass. But his pace is the reason he started and it had help give Arsenal the lead, and quite possibly could have lead to us doubling our advantage only minutes after the opener had Diaby chosen the right option.

Again Diaby found himself with some time in the middle of the park and Walcott had made a great run through the middle but for some unknown reason Diaby chose to play in Bendtner, not only a bad choice but it was a poor pass and the attack died out. I was furious with Diaby, slip in Walcott and he was in on goal. A game changing moment in my eyes but at least Arsenal were looking dangerous.

Unfortunately, all the good work was soon thrown out of the window. Just when you wanted Arsenal to tighten up, slow the game down, keep the crowd quiet and make Barcelona work for a goal, up popped Silvestre with a superb assist! Messi weaved his way to the edge of the area and tried a through ball which Silvestre could only deflect straight back at him, Messi took a touch and smashed home from the edge of the box. A great finish but avoidable from Arsenal’s side.

By: promotion11

However, whether Sir Alex Ferguson would like to seek the opinion of Gary Neville on the capability of Franck Ribery is yet to be seen.

The sources say that Ribery is likely to quit Bayern by the end of the season but there is no assurance as of now that he’ll end up at Old Trafford in United Manchester. However, it can be sensed that he has got no escape from the Emperor’s new clothes.

Next month, Franck will turn 27 and he has yet to show his talent in the Champions League. Undoubtedly, the player has shown his capability with Marseilles and Bayern, however, Le Championnat and Bundesliga do not share the similar standard as that of La Liga, Serie A and the Premier League. It is believed that by now, Franck Ribery should have joined some big football club in Europe which had not happened earlier.

When compared to one of the best football players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Wayne Rooney who have excelled by winning the Champions League single-handedly, Franck is yet to excel in the world’s top leagues. It might be a misconception that Ribery is still not as good as some of the best football players, however, it is still to be seen if he could do something for United what Wayne Rooney did to AC Milan and what Messi is capable of doing to Arsenal.

Same thoughts are being shared by Sir Alex Ferguson who quotes that he likes him as a player but still there is a perception that he does not match the standards of Rooney and Messi. No doubt that the player has already won himself a lot of fans by showing his capability but still Ferguson is of the opinion that at the moment, he still cannot be compared with Rooney or Messi.

Uruguay will be playing in its 11th FIFA World Cup in 2010 in South Africa. Uruguay hosted and won the first FIFA World Cup tournament in 1930. Uruguay also won the 1950 FIFA World Cup in Brazil (beating the hosts by 2 goals to 1 in the final). Uruguay also played in the 1997 FIFA Confederations Cup tournament in Saudi Arabia and finished in 4th place. Uruguay is currently ranked at number 19 on the FIFA rankings. Uruguay have played in 40 Copa America tournaments. They competed in the competition for the first time in 1916 and have won the Copa America trophy 14 teams over the years.

The Uruguay national football team has 3 nicknames, “Charrúas”, “La Celeste Olímpica” (The Olympic Sky Blue) and La Celeste (The Sky Blue). The current head coach of the Uruguay national football team is Oscar Tabárez. This former player has been managing football teams in Europe and South America since 1980. He took up the Uruguay coaching position in 2006 after a spell of 4 years at Argentinian football club Boca Juniors. Rodolfo Rodríguez is the most capped Uruguayan footballer in history. He played for Uruguay in 79 matches between 1976 and 1986. He does not have a single goal behind his name because he played in the goalkeeper position. Héctor Scarone is the highest scoring Uruguayan footballer in history. He scored 31 goals for his country in 52 matches between 1917 and 1932. He was also the manager for Real Madrid (in Spain) between 1951 and 1952.

Uruguay achieved its biggest win in footballing history in 1927 when the team beat fellow South Americans Bolivia by 9 goals to 0. The country suffered its biggest loss in footballing history in 1902, losing by 6 goals to 0 against Argentina.

Uruguay will be one of the teams to watch in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in my opinion. They should not be underestimated. They should make it into the last 16 stage of the competition.

Uruguay will play in the following 3 group matches in 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa:

11 June 2010 – Uruguay vs France @ Cape Town Stadium – Kickoff at 20:30

16 June 2010 – Uruguay vs South Africa @ Loftus Versfeld Stadium, Pretoria – Kickoff at 20:30

22 June 2010 – Uruguay vs Mexico @ Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Rustenburg – Kickoff at 16:00

By: Andre Botelho

It’s undisputable that our body has to go through a lot of stress in various forms. When soccer conditioning of players continues without proper thought, they undergo a lot of bodily and psychological strain. For this reason, you must include pre- determined breaks and recovery techniques into the overall training program.

Coaches today are more aware of the fact that physical and mental stress in soccer workouts needs to be controlled. They still appear to have ignored this and fallen prey to the overwhelming amount of competition resulting in overtraining. Hence, let’s chat about a few causes of and methods to prevent over exhaustion.

What is the best way to discover that the players are over stressed? You’ll see that players feel de-motivated to participate or train. They always experience fatigued. They experience pain and stiffness in their muscles all the time. Muscle pulls and strains clearly reflect on their declining performance.

All these are the signs of over training. As a result, soccer exercises must be used in a way that the training program does not allow for overtraining.

This would require you to carefully analyze your competition timetable. Find out the time zones where you’ll be required to take rest. This will give you a fair idea of how much time in days or weeks is actually available to you for training.

In majority of such cases, you’ll get a very limited time for actual training. In such a case, look for small durations when you quick soccer conditioning program would be sufficient. As an example, a week when you encounter an opposition weaker than you.

The motive is to ensure that the players get adequate rest so that the constructive results of a nicely followed soccer fitness routine are not lost.

Overtraining can easily hamper the performance of a player even after adequate training. It may also result in DOMS or delayed-onset muscle soreness. This is a physical condition which occurs when a new training program is initiated or the existing one is modified.

It can last between 2 to 8 days. This is the result of muscle tear at a micro level during work outs. Hence, the muscles get stiff and cause pain which can last for several days. But this pain indicates that the muscles are on way to recovery. You can help the players cure this condition by making them do light exercises.

This is the reason as to why you should always be aware of your player’s fitness.

Allow me to reiterate the importance of good diet and rest in fitness programs. It’s a fact that body’s adaptive response to training occurs while it is resting. The point here is to devise the right mix of training, playing stress, and practice that will not affect the player’s body negatively.

So move on and design a soccer conditioning program that is best for you and your team. Our youth soccer coaching community is full of such useful and valuable information on training and fitness.

By: soccer

Soccer games are familiar all around the globe and people wish to train themselves in soccer. Many love soccer games for it is highly interesting and draws in many fans. For any games, learning the ethics of the game is very essential. One should follow the ethics of the game to be successful in soccer games. In soccer, the art of dribbling is more important. So, any player should develop his dribbling skills. Ball control, strength, speed, weaker foot ability, lifting up eyes and changing the pace are the most important dribbling skills that any player should possess to be good in soccer games. Control over the Ball Having control over the ball right from the start of the game makes you a winner. This is one among the most essential dribbling skills that requires continuous practice. Keeping the ball at your foot all time is quite challenging. You must be able to move along with the ball and manage your body movements accordingly to keep full control over the ball. Strength You have the full strength to get the ball from your opponent. You should be fit physically, only then you can manage the ball and push it to the opponent’s goal post. Your strength makes your opponent keep a distance from you. So, this is an added advantage. Speed The speed with which you move around in the field is important. The result of the game can be predicted with how fast you take the ball each time and pass it on to your team mates. If your speed is low compared to that of the opponent, you’ll find difficulty in pushing the ball. So, move along with the ball at a constant speed. Do not lose control over the ball because of your speed. Betterment of Weak Foot Your dribbling skillsdepend on the movement of your foot and other body parts too. So, it is essential to keep all parts involved in good form to get a winning edge of the game. Your back heel, sole of the foot and other parts have to be maintained well to use all parts of the foot while moving with the ball. You should not let your opponent know of your weak points, because this can turn to be an advantage for them. Lifting up eyes When you are in the round, you have to be aware of the other players who chase the ball with you. You should lift up your eyes and at the same time shouldn’t lose contact with the ball. If you do so, you can prevent others from attacking the ball. Changing the pace Players have to change the pace to turn the attention of the opponents. This is a significant dribbling skill to be developed by players. When you change the pace, the opponent’s calms down for a while and then start by the tie you move in front at a longer distance. You should also maintain the speed throughout the game. Players have to acquire dribbling skills and be proficient in it to master the games. Many websites offer soccer drills and people who are into soccer should learn all the skills.

By: Andre Botelho

Lend me your ears even though you may differ with me on this. When it comes to soccer drills, it is important that kids are first trained on the basic skills of the game so that they can get a feel of the game. This soccer training should always come first in the training schedule before moving on to the more problematical aspects of training or the right approach to play the game.

Since you are a soccer coach, the onus lies on you that the players start on a right note. For this reason, coach your players on every important soccer skill forming the basis of the game. Following are a few basic skills that each budding player must be skilled at.

Teach the players the skills of shooting and dribbling the ball: Players must first learn the two most basic techniques in soccer, dribbling and shooting. Whether the player be successful in the game or not depends on these two skills to a great extent. Nonetheless, training these soccer exercises must be arranged for in advance.

Beginning from one end of the field, arrange all players in a straight line with a majority of players placed all over the soccer field.

Afterwards tell them to start. Running around the field, they would try to grab the ball by their feet as they dribble and shoot the ball in the goal located at the opposite end of the field. The players will improve on these two soccer drills soon after they continue practicing it on a regular basis.

Passing the ball and following directions: These soccer skills will help the players to learn the value of playing in a team. In the end, soccer is a team game that must be jointly shared by all the team members. The players will find it really difficult to play as a team if they lack good passing skills and fail to understand and follow simple guidelines.

For the purpose of teaching passing skills in the game and making them understand the guidelines, there is a really simple drill. To begin with, line up the entire team in one row at the either end of the field. Make a single team member stand in front of them about 5 to 10 feet away.

You’ll signal them to go and the first person in line will attempt to catch the ball from the teammate in the field. When they are told to stop, the one with the ball should pass it on to the first player in the line. This soccer practice will teach the players to listen as well as follow your instructions.

Handling the Ball: As a coach, you must train the players on the skill of dealing with the ball with the help of other body parts, excluding their feet. This way they’ll be able to perform more spontaneously on the field. The players can improve on this by practicing the use of heads and knees to throw the ball and stopping the using the back.

This is the easiest way to teach basic soccer drills that can produce great players who can then move on to actual game skills and more complicated routine.

It’s not surprising to know that it’s soccer conditioning which serves as a platform for the success of any team. It is because of soccer exercises which build strength, agility, and endurance that players manage to stay in shape and thus dream to become match winners for their team.

Still, your team or you may face situations where there is paucity of time to train ahead of a tournament. But you don’t need to compromise on the conditioning exercises because of this. You would not want to see your players down with injuries either previous to the match or in the match.

A well planned soccer fitness training course has the capacity to fully train the players even in less that 3 days time. It only needs some good quality planning, and sincerity in its execution. There are one or two tips which work well with short but successful training plans.

Warming up: Tell the players to kick off with any of these; a five minute jog, heel flicks, high knees, or jumping. Take time to relax for a while in between. Then tone the muscles up by doing some stretching exercises for 5 minutes. These soccer workouts must include every important muscle group in it.

Running: Some coaches have the habit of making their players do continuously rounds of running. Although there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s advisable that players strictly do some soccer specific running only. It means that for about 30 minutes, they do a combination of running, jogging, walking, and sprinting in no set order.

Running like this at different levels helps the players build stamina and exercise control over their body. And they do not feel tired since a walk after a sprint keeps the heart rate normal.

Leave the decision making to the individual players about what to do and when. If they have a liking for sprinting more than jogging, so be it. As the kids develop more strength and energy, you can increase the length of the soccer conditioning program by 10 minutes.

Stretching: Encourage the players to do it whenever they can; after a training session and after the match. Focus on the whole body but lay emphasis on hamstrings, groins, quads, calves and lower back. Ensure that the stretching positions are of longer durations than the warm-up sessions. In general, 20 to 30 seconds is recommended.

Instruct the players to take adequate rest a day before the match. This will make the muscles build up strength as well as negate the possibility of injuries. Also, use this time to discuss your plan with the team and encouraging them.

Make them laugh a lot so that they start getting positive.

Trust me! When you apply this to your sessions, your players shall improve dramatically. In order to know more about soccer conditioning, subscribe to our youth soccer coaching community that will give you access to great soccer resources.
